The place where you can learn the truth about processes running on your computer.

While trying to help a friend find solution to his slow machine, I discovered so many processes were running in the background (many of them are strange). In an attempt to know what these processes are, I tried to goggle them.

To cut the long story short, I found this website, File Inspect Library, very useful.

In case you ran into similar problem and want to find out whether it’s virus, worm or something else that’s eating up your memory, the best place where you can learn the truth about processes running on your computer is the above link.

However, that might not eventually solve your computer’s problem, but at least you are well informed about what is going on in your system.

If you discovered it’s a virus problem, the solution would be to kill the process(es) first, install/update your antivirus and perform complete virus scan on your system.

Hope you find this useful.

Cheers
